What they really want is a decent job in thier homeland.
But, they're being used by interests in thier home countries (particularly Mexico, of course), and here for thier own purposes. American businesses want to exploit thier workers, and American citizens have long been too difficult to exploit, so they want illegals - or 'guest' workers with limitted rights and protections. Race-based political action groups want to use the plight of mostly-minority immigrants to advance thier own agendas. Democrats look forward to more minority voters (who historically vote thier way) and a growing tax base to support FDRs ponzi scheme, Social Security, while Republicans cash checks from thier constituents who will proffit off cheap labor.
They want to ruin our country, just like they've ruined their own.
They want what we have worked our A_$$es off our whole lives to have, for nothing.
A free pass! NO AMNESTY FOR ILLEGALS! I say round them all up and send them back to deal with there own countries problems, not ours.

What do they really want? They want everything we have, but they don't want to work for it. Sad to say, most people now think that the Government can give things away indeffinitely without raising taxes.

I know that most are NOT complaining and will happily pay $5000. Dont say illegals want more aid for Mexico...they know they will never see any of it.
They just want to be able to work. Dont say they want an endless number of immigrants here. They dont. A 24 hour background check isnt that bad and dont say they want it to be an hour.

You have to realize it is the Republicans that worked out this amnesty bill. It doesn't mean anything to the illegals. The Republicans want the illegals here. They are trying to destroy our economy. We have all these illegals coming here getting, free health care, food stamps, education and eventually social security. The money they earn is sent back to Mexico. Check out the local cash transfer location on Friday. Safeway is a good place to look. All those illegals cashing their paycheck and sending it home.
All americans from Gorge Washington are migrant to America, so why deny people oppurtunity of life and living. They want an open border and a free ticket to all the services that the rest of us have been paying for.
What this bill is proposing would have been easy for most of us legal immigrants and the $5,000 would have been nothing compared to what a lot of us paid to be here. We got checked by the FBI and provided a police clearance from our country of origin (which took a lot more than 24hours), had to submit ourselves to a medical exam and testing, filled out the endless paperwork and paid all our fees/expenses by certified check and waited our time in line. You know what, if I'd had a criminal record, or a nasty medical condition or even couldn't raise the $$$ I wouldn't have been allowed to be here.
So I'd say let them choke on that, but I don't think they much care. A lot of supporters say this is a race issue but I think those are the people who promote or actually are illegal here. Those same people say that they are only seeking relief from their impoverished lives, well anyone who can afford to pay $$$ to coyote's for smuggling can afford to pay for immigration. I think most of them prefer to live lives of lies, freeloading and deceit.
Illegals want whatever they can get from us and at no cost.
Since we have never secured our borders or enforced our immigration laws we have trained them how to act.

I think the main reason our current crop of immigrants are not feeling the love is because they are the first group to come here and refuse to fit in with our culture.

This is not an amnesty. The definition of amensty is an act that obliterates all legal remembrance of the offence. A $5000 fine for people who earn minimum wage for working jobs you better pray you never even have to imagine, 2 mandatory long absences for the principal breadwinner, and being at the mercy of the employers is not an amnesty.

Illegal Aliens wants all of the gates to be open one way, and that is toward their prosperity. If their country was prosperous they would be the one fighting to keep their gates closed to lock you out. It would be really nice if America did better to help its veterans, rather than focusing aid to countries that flood its shores with its displaced poor. Provision the aid money to hire veterans to guard the border. We do a better job of guarding the border between North & South Korea than our own. Eligal Aliens want their eligal activity to be legal.
To have a green card and become a US citizen. Had I not wanted to become one, hey I would have been gone out of the US and back to my Philippines long time ago and enjoyed my retirement pension Chapter 61 from the US Navy there just like American US military retirees who are over there and enjoying.
I dont know but I just want to become a US citizen first and then go back to PI. But as is, I dont have to be a US citizen to enjoy my pension because I am gonna get it anyway whether US citizen or not.
I was lawfully allowed to the US pursuant to military orders to serve in the US Navy. Gulf war veteran and retired from the service and still an illegal alien since I am no longer on active duty. Still I could find me another avenues in becoming one. I could just ask a beautiful white girl to marry me, but I dont know why my military service that I only care about to becoming a US citizen.
That is why I am not into this immigration bill for them Mexicans and is not really making me happy as an illegal alien myself.
