Much harder. For example the 1996 law changes were due to illegal immigration frustration, as is the current fight about H1B visa increases. Marital immigration fraud makes it slower to bring in spouses.
When we feel more than 'full' we aren't as liberal with our laws.
No Clinton and the Congress of 96 made it more difficult and created the mess that there is now.

Harder!! When my wife and I moved back from Germany, we had to go through all sorts of paperwork, fee's, finger printing, interviews, pictures, more interviews. I talked with other service members who had married foreign nationals and they didn't have to go through half of that stuff.
Plus, why is it ok for every other country to have stiff immigration laws but the US? Hell if you wanted to go to Mexico that's fine, but its a pain in the a** to become a citizen, and if your not a citizen you can't own any property. In Europe most of the countries require you to learn the language. If you don't no support from the government. Ride a train sometime through Europe, bet you get checked a couple times for your passport. Could you imagine a cop just checking passports in America.
And now everyone is crying about the National ID card, hell we are like the only country in the world that doesn't have one.

I think it may. Illegals' disregard for our law has created such aggravation that we may have to put a 10-year moratorium on all immigration.

Excuse me? Did someone blame it on the Asians people stealing jobs? If you good at your job you should not be afraid of someone stealling it!!! And what kind of jobs did they steal???? Or you just jealous because some of us Asian done beter for ourself then you would have? When you said Asian you group everyone together and that is not right just like when people said "the Hispanic" or "the Black"....we are not all alike and not all Asian are illegal just the same as not all Hispanic are illegal.
More difficult.As I see many people just coming here however,my family members have to wait extended amounts of time just to come visit.Nowadays immigration asks for just about everything except the kitchen sink for someone to bring a spouse or relative.They want income tax records and all kinds of other proof as well.Not to mention all the money they charge for every paper filed.
