How we can stop problems in Malta?

why are they immigrating illegally? It always seems to get the easy life of free money from Europe.
The Africans are complaining about being locked up in detention centers. I'm sorry but if you enter somewhere illegally then you should be locked up until it's proven you have a real asylum case. Maybe the conditions in the detention center could be better, but they can't expect plasma tv's and gourmet food. The Africans are given computers and had their own little restaurants!
These people should just be put on a boat back, happily half of them are. They have traveled through several countries to reach Malta and if they were being persecuted that bad why didn't they stop there.
The Maltese government will just have to stop accepting them. They can`t afford to help them or to keep them. Sad, but unfortunately it just can`t be helped.
The maltese government can't just decide not to help them if they are on Maltese territory. and fact still remains that these illegal immigrants are PEOPLE, with needs and feelings like you and me.
the situation must be tackled at its source, ie africa, and the EU should help with that, besides offering to take some of the immigrants into inland europe. i guess the immigrants would like that, as most of them did not wish to end up in malta!!
