Perhaps like many other refugees they have an understandable aversion to going home to a pile of rubble ?
Better question is why did a huge portion of the U.S. population change their tune when we did exactly what the President said we were going to do?

I have a brother(not real bro just we are like bro n sis) he is iraqi and has been in uk for 5 yrs. His cousin was stopped 4 months ago in iraq and was told to give $120,000. He didnt have that kind of cash, he offered them $10,000 but because they refused, he went in hiding. 2 months ago they turned up at his dads house, they had drinks and cigs etc then apparently they killed the mother and father, raped the 16 yr old sister and slit her throat, Now the little 6 yr old sister had heard and ran out the door to hide next door like she had been told to do....
They shot her in the leg.. then slit her throat and then shot her between the eyes.
Now, they could have got $10,000. but killed a whole family instead. So..
Would you go back?
