Why do the American's how to learn how to speak Spanish?
Answer:
Kuddos On That!
depends wurr u live ..in miami u have 2 knoe spanish
I agree 100%.
I agree. That is one of the main reasons that people have such a problem with illegal immigrants. If they would assimilate and actually learn the language, they would find they could get along much easier.
your not allowed in mexico if you don't know spanish. i agee with ya.
I agree. But you need to be in English classes right along next to them. Your sentence format and spelling is off, and I would think that'd be important due to the point of the question.
Preaching to the choir here.
As my german ancestors said, "When you leave the old country and come to the new country, you have to learn the language of the new country."
Course, I've been thinking about learning more spanish myself myabe to go vacationing down south.
Because some people like to be diverse. It broadens the mind to learn another language.

"Why do the American's how to learn how to speak Spanish?
Why do the American's have to learn to speak Spanish when English is our actuale language. The people from Mexico are the ones that should be learning our language. ENGLISH!!!"
Re-read your question and then when YOU learn to speak ENGLISH, get back to me, okay? Thaaaaaanks a bunch!
well some kids only have parents that only speak Spanish and are not from Mexico so that's all they can teach there children and the government want more people so they want us to welcome these people by learning Spanish
I agree. While I am not adverse to learning new languages, I don't like it forced upon me by our politically correct culture.
To me, one of the reasons we learn other languages is because reputable colleges and universities have a language requirement, it also helps in jobs to see you're bilingual.
We the people, have spoken English since before the Spanish jumped the wall. And why should we not make them learn our language?
That's has a lot to do with marketing products ,making more money its also a political thing, sorry our country is going to the almighty dollar.
I agree!
I don't know what the push is to accept Spanish as a second language is anyway. I notice at the local Home Depot they make announcements in both English and Spanish and the self serve check out booth are in both English and Spanish. What is really weird, is that the local Home Depot is in an area with a large Chinese population. There are very few Spanish speaking customers.
Why don't they make the announcements in English and Chinese? Why not have the self serve checkouts in English and Chinese? Why Spanish? It seems we are not trying to accommodate any other foreign language speakers but Spanish. Why?
.
we shouldnt have to! they need to learn english
DAMN STRAIGHT. But the beginning of your question sounds like your having enough problems of your own. Americans dont even come close to speeking English. We speak American...we have distroyed the true English language.
lol this question has been floating around so so so many times. that's why the government kinda just dropped the issue. there's so many reasons as to why those chose it and why they should'nt have. we could go on about this for forever or just deal with it and the best out of it.
While it's true that English is our native language, in certain parts of the country (Florida, Texas, California) it's to a persons advantage to know Spanish. No matter what anybody thinks about it, there's a large Spanish speaking population. It's not going away. I personally only know a little Spanish but I could make so much more money in my job if I could communicate with the Spanish speaking population too.
Yeah, we should all be speaking Sioiux!!
From the phrasing, punctuation and spelling of your question, it would appear that the answer is that English is too difficult even for Americans to master.
Just because that is the way it is. Comprende?
Do they have to learn english in mexico for us? Q U A C K !!!!
Well to become a Naturalized American citizen all must speak and know English rather well. I watched all the newly Naturalized citizens repeat in very good English the oath to renounce their countries from which they came from to become Naturalized American citizens on the 4Th of July 2007. Bravo to them all.
Now if the rest would get that and understand that this is the way it is, has been, and always was when immigration laws, requirements, and policies were put into place in America.
urgh, I completely agree. It's quite the pain actually. Especially because I used to live down in Miami. It was ridiculous there. Had a hard time even getting a job because I wasn't fluent in Spanish. Or creole, for that matter. I think it's rather sad. One reason why I wouldn't mind moving.. lol. But hey, I took up American Sign Language in high school instead of Spanish. *shrugs* suited me much better. and I was actually happy to learn the language... especially because it wasn't forced upon me to.
I wish to ask everybody a minute of silence in memory of the brutal and senseless murder of the English language made by the asker who couldn't even make sense with the question.
Um, Jar...your an idiot.
You are allowed into Mexico if you cannot speak Spanish. I drive for a living and delivered a load to Laredo TX last Thursday. Friday I walked into Mexico and enjoyed a nice day there of sightseeing and fine food...and I don't speak a word of Spanish.
As to the question, I agree 100%. Regardless of country of origin, if your going to live here you should learn English.
nobody forces you, anyways knowlegde it's power, it's up to you
