What are the advantages of having a Chinese citizenship?

I read on some websites that it's possible to apply for a Chinese citizenship if you live there for long enough and I was just wondering what were the advantages of having one. If you want to live there, you can have a citizenship of another country and still have permits.

Are there any international advantages of having a Chinese citizenship like there is for Canadian citizenship as well as many European countries? If not, then what is the point of applying for one?

Answer:
Well, with Chinese citizenship you can:

live in a country where there is no freedom of speech, assembly, and where religion is tightly restricted! Wouldn't THAT be swell!

You can vote! For the candidates that the government, in its eternal wisdom, has chosen ahead of time, for you to choose from! Wow! They do all the hard thinking for you!

The government takes away that bothersome decision about how many kids you want, by telling you how many you can have! Alright!

You can live in a country where they don't give a flying crap about the environment. Breathe deeply, my friend!

The government will tell you what parts of the internet you may visit! So get off of Yahoo, pal!

Yes, Chinese citizenship is a wonderful thing to have!
