Why do some Americans blame all their problems on illegal immigration?

Yeah Illegal Immigrants (Mexicans) were living in Georgia (ghost town there) and they were making that city lively to live... and
they were building houses, set up stores and things... until
the Government had to deport them.

I think it is because 4% Illegal Immigrants didn't pay taxes.
If they pay taxes just like everybody else, then they can live here.
I guess that is when they get in trouble when they demanded
food stamp and welfare and stuff. Can't get those stuff without

We gotta have someone to blame for our misery. Before we blamed the Mexicans, we blamed the Indians and then the African-Americans. Next, it could be anyone.
The only ones we want rounded up are the ILLEGAL immigrants. It is a falsehood that they do jobs Americans won't do - they just do the work for an unreasonably low wage, which causes the standard of living to go down for all working-class Americans!
4% is quite a lot. and a large amount of them are in gangs, dope runners. Girls on welfare for the fatherless children they are having. The percentage of these activities are in the Latino and black community's. They are not good for anything. Them i wfould run out of the country at once.
Surely not ALL our problems. The ones they contribute to, such as the failure rate and overcrowding of hospitals, the financial drain on public school systems who must provide special classes for non-english students and their parents, the drain on public assistance dollars, the unskilled labor jobs and semi-skilled jobs (such as construction, contracting, janitorial, and other service fields) that are being so underbid by illegals that legal citizens can no longer compete...the list goes on and on. They are a drain on our legal system and our immigration system. They are simply parasites for everyone except the big businesses who hire them.
We do not blame ALL of our problems on illegal immigration, only the ones that concern it. BTW that insignifigant 4% would be an estimated 2,000,000 illegals, and each one is burdening our society in many ways.
4%? Have you been to CA,TX, AZ lately? Entire towns in TX, there very fabric, have been changed forever. Hospitals in this country have had to close due to the cost of treating illegals. Schools systems are maxed out and going bankrupt. etc., etc., etc. Get them outta here!
Orange County just checked all of their inmates through I.C.E. and guess what? 75% of the Hispanics were illegal! If that is in any way representative, 75% of the 4% are criminals. So, it's 4% too many.

Let's clarify. Reasonable Americans don't blame "all their problems" on illegal immigration. There are specific problems caused by illegals such as consuming a disproportionate share of public resources and committing a disproportionate share of violent crime and identity theft. Yes, that "four percent" of the population is committing over 20% of violent crime. At this point, I'd be happy if we'd just send back the ones that have been convicted of committing a crime.
Whoa hold on there, pal. Americans do not blame ALL their problems on illegal immigration? The fact is, while they perform jobs many others wouldn't do and they work cheap or strawberries would cost twice what they do now. They also get services they do not pay for and that is what the citizens are complaining about. Maybe if we can come up with a way for the immigrants to pay their own way or their employers could kick in a bit of money for services etc that are otherwise paid by the rest of us there would be less of a tendancy to blame them for what is wrong.

So why should dishonest people be rewarded ? 4% with 3.9.5 % collecting government entitlements based on fake documents. They are not blaming all their problems on illegals, they are just sick and tired illegals entering the country without permission and receiving benefits that our tax dollars are paying for. We don't want to round up anyone that has a right to be here (legal immigrants/citizens), regardless of their race or religion. 4% is too much, and if we don't crack down on these criminals, that number will only grow.

Most Americans would frown upon rounding any group of people up. Do you know that educated Mexicans with skills fill out. reems of paperwork and wait years to immigrate legally?
Do you know that if illegal immigrants were given legal status they would be fired because their employers could not afford to pay taxes on them , provide a living wage or provide benefits. What would we do then? How would we offset the drain on the resources of local communities and border states.

yeah but if you look a littl deeper tht 4% spends about 50% of the funds. when we find them we school them we have to feed them take them to hospitols blah blah on and on. i dont know about you but im not rich or even well off in the cash. so if i could save oh say 300 dollars a year not paying taxes tht go to taking care of people tht shouldnt have been here to start with, im happy. i have nothing against the people them selfs i just dont feel i should have to pay thier ways, nobodies paying my way and i was born here. when you see all of the money tht could be spent on other things instead of spent taking care of families upon families tht know they broke the laws in comeing here. hell we could be out of debt as a country if we had all tht extra cash. im not saying beat them or harm them in any way, and yeah i do feel a littl sorry for them, but the fact remains i have to live too. we could spent tht money helping our own poor out instead of forgetting about them and just giving it to some one tht breaks the law willingly. does anyone even remember our poor people our homless people, not really no they dont, till one gets beat by some stupid highschool punk and ends up dieing. instead we just shove tht problem under the rug so what we dont see we dont have to help right. so now i ask do you think its fair tht theese people take foods out of poor childrens mouths, they take away medicial care tht could have gone to a child tht was born here. everyone has a right to live, but when you have to go to the extreme of taking food out of someone else mouth, youve gone to far.

Only the problems caused by illegal immigration like violent crime, having to pay more for social programs, and a general attitude that a lot of the illegals do not feel they have to obey American laws. Actually, if I could pay you in peso's it would not be a bad deal for me to hire an illegal Mexican, Asian, or European (yes there are a lot of them too). Fact is, an illegal in Mexico goes to jail so why can't we make it equitable, and have the same laws nexico does for illegal immigration?
