I want to move to England from America, can I just fly there and never come back to America?

What do I do without having to spend so much money?

Answer:
You are free to leave the country (USA) at any time. You would need permission from the country where you want to move to (in this case England) to become a resident there. Check with the British embassy to see what would be required.
No, you can't just do that.

Have a safe trip! I wish you the best :-)

Yes, you can do that, but you will be an illegal immigrant and subject to deportation. I wonder how long you can last there?
I think so. First you have to secure a job and work permit, then the visa. But, if you are really loaded with money. That'll be easy. It seems like all the rich guys can go live in England easily.
No argument here. Bon Voyage!
Why the hell would you want to move to England?
ITS THE SAME BLOODY THING! as the english would say.

I dont even think its that easy.
If you're an English citizen yes.

If you're not, you have to contact a British Consulate and fill out and file the proper immigration papers and go through the process.

Can't get on an international flight without a passport.
I hope so. But the have tough immigration laws.
Ok so if you want to stay in America for a short time like couple years get a visa. If you want to keep Englands citizenship and want to live in America get a green card, with a green card you can live in America as a citizen live in America until every 5 years you have to renew it if your a kid, every 10 years if your an adult. If you want to be a permanent citizen of United States you have to take this exam to become a citizen.
There are many American who have moved to England. You will have to get visa and work permit just like here, however, you will not be permitted a dual citizenship. Only English people can do that. The US does not allow it.
No, you will have to get a visa to live there...Every country has different regulations. usually a resident visa will last most the year..but you will still have to travel out of the courntry periodically if you are wanting to keep your US citizenship.
England does have immigration laws, like any other country... you will have to go through a process to gain citizenship...which there will be a cost attached to it...

Haha, wow. You need a visa, first of all.

My family moved from England to America. Why would we bother flying across the world to live in a different country if it wasn't a thousand times better?

You're already living in America; don't leave for a stupid reason, or you'll regret it.
sure can we pack u in a suitcase we will fly you via registered male
hey why not we get boat loads of poles Russians and every other stinking poor immigrant wanting a hand out why not the rest of the wold
You sound young to me. You should always go visit a place before you decide to live there. I have learned the hard way over my lifetime. My husband and I went to South Africa when we were young only to return to the states after 6 weeks. Then we went to Belize,Hawaii, New York. Now I live in Hungary part time. It is really a good idea to check everything out before you go.It can cost a small fortune if you aren't careful.
