It doesn't change anything.
Further, people who rant about rounding up 12 million illegals and deporting them do not understand the logistical problems involved:
1. Hiring at least 1 million more agents/officers to investigate leads and round up suspects;
2. At least 1,000 more court rooms need to be constructed to hold removal (deportation) proceedings. We don't want to deny people of due process, do we?
3. At least 10,000 more prosecutors need to be hired, to prosecute the cases;
4. At least 1,000 Administrative Law (Immigration) Judges need to be appointed;
5. Facilities are needed to house the detained illegals before and after their hearings; and during their appeals process;
6. The costs to house and feed the detained illegals would run into the billions;
7. Once the illegals are deported and sent to their country, what will stop them from coming back, and going through the process all over again?
Thus, people continue to rant on YA about the Illegal Immigration law, without understanding the impossibilities of what they are demanding from being a viable solution.
It doesn't.. it really doesn't.. but maybe sometimes venting is better than grabbing a weapon and going out and hitting someone.. what do you think>?

IDK.the thing that bothers me is that people refer to this category as illegal immigration when its really just immigration...both legal and illegal
You get great links to call your Senator and tell them what a bad job they were doing on securing our borders and the amnesty bill they tried to pass.
Also, you find out what both sides think on this issue.
it doesn't. it just helps people release some of their anger about their opinion on it. I think they should be left alone. i mean really, who cares? who do they hurt? they actually make pretty good friends!
Venting on YA is a public forum for intelligent discussion. It helps the participants work through their belief system and thought process on a given subject. As American people we should always try to talk about an issue with others who have opposite viewpoints because the real truth often lies somewhere in the middle, behind the fear and ignorance.

I think there should be compromises on both sides...NO amnesty and NO mass deportation.

Venting is good it lets stupid people know the difference from good and evil. Illegal immigration is breaking the laws of the United States. Is it good to break our laws, NO! Being illegal is evil coming to America after filing the proper paperwork and waiting you turn is good.
I take it you didn’t go to Sunday school and learn the difference between good and evil or right and wrong. Venting is good so now maybe you know the difference.
Venting really doesn't change anything.
But it is a good way to release some tension. And people like me in the Midwestern small towns get quite the education on here.
I always thought illegal immigration was wrong, but being on here I have gotten to see both sides and realize how much hate and racial animosity the Mexican illegals have.
There is hatred and racism on both sides, I have seen some white racist posts on here that shocked me and made me embarrassed for such ignorance.
However I have also learned about Aztlan, La Raza, MEChA, and seen how they use the illegal Mexicans who are uneducated to help them in their program of conquest and racial invasion by population manipulation.
Reading the posts on here have educated me as to both sides of the debate. I am afraid for my country's future if people don't learn from what is on here and take steps to protect themselves.
sandwiched between all the hate and racism on these boards there are legitimate arguments being made and you can find some good information. it doesn't change anything but gives you the opportunity to see both sides of an argument.

You cannot be that naive. This was posted on one my of ?s yesterday. His parents are from Mexico. Shoot turn on a Mexican tv program. The majority of the people on the screen will be white. I see them at the Lousiana casinos all the time. They come in on buses.
