Can my first degree US Citizen cousin petition me for US?

I'm from Philippines and I have my relatives in US. Can my cousin (first degree) sponsor or petition me to come to US?

How long would it take?

Thanks

Answer:
Unfortunately, no. Form I-130 (Petition for Alien Relative) stipulates only immediate family members,( mother , father, brother ,sister, daughter, son, adopted sibling or child, husband or wife can qualify for these benefits!
No. It must be a mother, father, brother, sister, husband or wife. That's the law. Even with brothers and sisters it takes almost 23 years to get a visa.
BIG NO.

It must be immidiate family. Even if it were immidiate, it would take about 20 yrs for brothers/sisters, 5 yrs or so for parents petitioning for sons/daughters below age 21, a year or so if it were your husband/wife. Be a nurse, teacher, or pt. Then maybe the US might find you useful enough to grant you a workers visa (H1B).

Good luck!
