California minimum wage is $7.50 per hour just raised on 1-1-07 from $6.75 per hour and will increase to $8.00 0n 1-1-08. Arizona is $6.75/ hour, Texas is $5.15 per hour. Most employers pay undocumented workers less than American workers and are force to pay housing. Give me the names of these $10.00 / hr farms so we can let people know, where the "Land of Milk and Honey" is

Just saw one get chased and tackled by a group of police officers the other day. By the way he was running and being hunted down he must have either raped a woman or killed a person. Police were burning tires and racing through parking lots trying to corner him. It was good to see the criminal was caught.

But either one, I am against... if they are not here legally and do not want to contribute to this country in all the ways legal citizens do.. then they should not have jobs or anything else.

Honestly, they should not be here in the first place, so who cares if they can make living or not. The immigration debate is not personal it's about breaking our laws. Why should be naturalize anyone who's first act in our country is to break our laws? Get some perspective on this issue, please!
I could care less what they are makeing.If they were not in this country illegally, the people that hire them would have to pay legal wages to Americans. Yes, they would find people to do the jobs too. I'm sure many of them are real good workers.There are good and bad in any people. They need to go home though and come into our country legally. We would welcome them with open arms. They learn to speak English, take a pledge to our flag and our country. Then they can hold their heads up proud. They come into our country illegally and continue along this line. (doing things illegal.) Our ancesters came here legally. We can be proud of that. Don't they want the same for their future generations?
The ones I know are making 9.00 to 13.00 per hr at the area factories. Around here that is a pretty good living wage. also 2 to 3 families will live together and save their money , and then buy a house each. Don't tell me most of them are not making a living . Every so often they get rounded up , but they are back in 6 months.
I don't like illegals because I don't like criminals. Illegals are criminals that would be why they are called illegals. ILLEGAL=CRIMINAL get it? It's not exactly rocket science. They are not nearly as poor as you think they are. Where I live we have a huge problem with illegals and you should see the cars they drive, tricked out Escalades, Denalis, Hummers.... If you think illegal immigrants work for next to nothing, come to Central California. We are paying More than $10 an hour for illegal immigrants to pick crops. $10 an hour is considered living wage in the city of L.A., so it should be more than survivable in central valley.
To try and provide a perspective on your views, I'll use an example of illegals who work at unskilled to trade level skilled jobs, making at least $10 an hour for 2080 hours a year (based on a 40-hour week); this person can make $20K a year. If he works a 6-day week every week, that's $4000 a year more. In some trades, an illegal will earn considerably more per hour.
If he rents a $900 house with 5 other people the share per person is $150 a month. Share the food, the transportation, get emergency care from the community, pay no taxes or SS, don't buy buy insurance of one kind or another, don't pay property taxes, somebody else takes care of the house repairs and they skimp on utilities. And have few if any "luxuries" and an individual can make it, plus send money back home.
People in America, legal or illegal, make a living on that kind of money and lifestyle all the time. In addition, illegals typically pool their resources. Remember the media reports on the typical illegal individual or family in Cactus, Texas who made in excess of $10 an hour at Swift Meat Packing? And the more skilled meat handlers made more. Not glamorous, but they were surviving, sending their kids to free school, getting medical coverage (Swift needed them to be well enough to work) and sending money back home.
Working hard is not the issue...illegals work like hell, even on routine holidays, 6 or 7 days a week just like in the old days in the U.S. before unions were formed, in order to get the $10 an hour. Their work routine was fully outlined at Swift and I've personally seen illegals in several parts of the U.S. doing what I've just described.
As far as legalizing their status and losing their "perks," that's really a whole nother question.
first reason is when an illegal apples for help in anything the us citizens pay for there translator and then they are taken through the system all the way Thur it but us citizens have to apply and wait I can not afford a dentist but the illegals get the best dental care the American people are disgusted to have to work all of our lives and then have an illegal come to this country and receive all are benefits how do immigrants come to this country and get a job in security I know of two of then
