What will happen to USA after legalizing 30 million Mexicans?
Where is the benefit to the USA in all of this? We're changing our language...paying more for health care...paying multi millions in benefits...etc.

in a nutshell: HELL ON AMERICAN SOIL!! They're trying to force the propaganda that amnesty is the only way. Buullllllllllllllllllllllll Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!!... Here's an easier way. Don't provide Welfare for illegals, don't give them drivers' license's, and when you pull them over(this is to the police officers), DEPORT THEIR ASSES! Stop giving them an out! I've F'ing had it!
If they want to live here, then they can apply for citizenship and learn the language. America should not be feeling sorry for a bunch of illegals that are too lazy to learn our national language and having us have to translate everything on signs, store products, and etc.

Any Republican who thinks they will get a single additional vote by legalizing these people is out of their minds. Their effort here will only result in dividing their party further. The Democrats, on the other hand, stand to gain big time.

Anybody that thinks the new citizens will start paying taxes are misinformed! Their income is so low that their tax liability will be probably near ZERO. In addition, low income people might qualify for tax credits (AKA free money that the taxpayers give them.)
After that, there will be 30 million more. It needs to stop now.
I see our country turning into another mexico. I see Americans moving out and to other countries because they dont care to live in mexico and have to speak spanish. I see America wasting away and over populated.

In 2005 Lou Dobbs was saying 7 to 10 Million illegal aliens, now he is saying 12 to 20 Million. if we can support & he work hard to stop the Congress from looking at this matter today, he can repeat the same story in 2009 with little changes i.e.- 20 to 30 Million (or 30 -40 )
By that time they can bring all their distant cousins and their families; most probably Congress will come up with a real AMNESTY plan similar to 1986 instead of this penalties and long waiting period and complex probation system and all.

i agree w/ barb. i'm only 24 so i dont have the life experience but i dont think everything will go to sh*t. these are hardworking dependable honest people just trying to make a decent living. if you are a lazy young american then you will reap what you sow. as for the rest of us i think when they are legalized they will learn english and incorporate themselves into our great american way of life. they bring a lot to the table now and will continue to for a very long time.
