We are all mad. We should be taking care of American citizens not the citizens of other countries. Cost continue to rise and we are hurting. (Sorry but I don't really care of the cost of "cigs" go through the roof. They are stinky and I can't breathe if someone is smoking near me.)

The cost of gasoline is making all other consumer items rise. Most people here and in the US thought the rise in gasoline prices would only affect them at the pump. Think again. How does one think all those items people buy at the grocery store or any store for that matter get there? By truck, which is fueled by oil. People are so naive.
It's all based on the price of gas, not in correlation to aid abroad. Buy local and use a vehicle with low gas mileage and work for alternative fuel sources.
All the costs you are talking about have always gone up. Especially medical costs and gas. illegals or no illegals they will continue to go up because of greed.

I think the overall increase is due to Ethanol. Why are we allowing the use of our primary feed grain as fuel?
Stop the craziness people, the only who benefit from this are corn farmers...nearly $5 a bushel.

Well, you should cut out the cigarettes as they are unhealthy and a "luxury", your pregnant anyway so you shouldn't be smoking. I agree that we spend far too much money on outside nations health and food issues while our poor go hungary right in our back yards. But when someone talks about cigarettes on the same list I have no sympathy for their financial woe's. Bare nececities come before wants. You'll see when your baby arrives that formula is much more important. Try taking the bus or walking to the grocery store and work. It'll save on the gas, then if you put your car in non op status with the DMV for a few months that'll save on insurance costs, if you have it. You can also apply for AIM health coverage since your pregnant.

Give aid to the citizens before giving aid to other countries. Likewise, lower the lost of commodities through subsidy by government instead of helping other countries.
