Not to be rude, but that is the most horrifyingly awful idea I've ever heard. My friend went into a Mexican hospital with food poisoning and got a staph infection. God only knows what they'd to to your kid.

You can give birth to your baby in Mexico all you like but that will not entitle it to Mexican citizenship. Only the USA has such liberal immigration laws.
I believe that the baby would be a mexican citizen, because it was born in mexico. you would need to file for citizenship for your baby to bring him/her back to the US.
Yes, you can. Because you are an American citizen that also makes your child one too. Just make sure you have all your proper documentation so there will not be any hassle.

Yes. Very few countries have "birthright citizenship". If an American born woman gives birth overseas she would register her child with the American embassy or counsulate general's office. The child would be considered an American, but not eligible to run for president when he grows up.

Sure you can, you might or might not need a passport. Then when you come back just have all your doctors records, they will let you come right on through, and baby right on through. Why go there to have the baby and then bring it back here, does not make any sense at all to me. You got something against a birth certificate from the USA, that is what most of the illegals want.
