And it point s out that no government agency has these stats. So search far and wide if you want you will never get them. and i've had a personal experience with an illegal alien. and i've seen the crimes he's commited. but oh no he just wants a better life right.thats why he drank all the time and did drugs and tried to hurt me with a knife and then smash my car windows in, and steal peoples ID cards (including my own) whenever he found wallets and drove around drunk all the time...but oh no he just wanted a better life right...
oh and it wasnt just him either, his friends were just as bad and just as illegal.

I can't confirm or deny your statistics, I can only speak from experience. Having worked as a patrol Sergeant in a rural community I can tell you that illegal, er sorry undocumented americans commit a significant number of crimes. This information is hard to compile statistically because we could never attempt to identify their nationality. Because no one cared if they were illegal, the Border Patrol would not pick them up, we did not compile that type of statistical data.

OK...so let's put this into perspective. In the year 2005 the US Census reported that there were 11 million undocumented immigrants in the United States, and that's just the number of those that would even speak with someone from the Census, so there are definitely more.
As far as the crimes the MINORITY of them commit, no, it's not right, and those that have committed crimes (other than crossing the border) shouldn't be allowed to stay and, in fact, are usually deported within a year of their sentencing. Your data is probably true, but with all good things comes some bad. The numbers you provide do not represent some disproportionate amount of crime when compared to the actual number of illegal immigrants in the country.
By not providing the numbers of actual undocumented immigrants you are skewing the information to make it appear as though the majority of illegal immigrants are criminals when this is not true.
I wrote this on another post and I'll write it again for the majority of them, their only crime was crossing the border in search of the "American Dream" that many of them believe can be a reality. In the US we have lost sight of that dream and take for granted everything we have.
Think about what many of these people went through to get here, the families that they left and send money to in hopes of providing them with something better, the wives and children they can't hold again so they can monetarily support them in a horrible economy. Yes, SOME commit crimes other than crossing the border, but not the majority.
EDIT: I said that your information made it seem as if the majority of illegal immigrants commit crimes, not that the majority of crimes are committed by illegal immigrants. And no, you didn't take sides, but by posting the negative information without providing any positive information is somewhat indicative of where you stand on the issue. Even by prefacing the statistics with "of 11 million+ undocumented immigrants in the United States, the following statistics have been determined:", it would have put a completely different spin on your question. Just an observation.

Ok, lets do the math! If it were true that 29% of the prison population were "illegals" that would include people from all the other countries collectively. There are approximately 245 entities considered to be countries. On December 31, 2005; 2,193,798 prisoners were held in Federal or State prisons or in local jails giving us 1557596.58 illegals. That would mean that if all countries were represented we would have 2504.73 from each country in jail on that same year
Now lets toss the the coin. The remaining 71% or 636201.42 of the general prison population were "Americans"! This means (you guessed it) we break more of our own laws and go to jail for it.
Over all population at year end 2005 there were 3,145 black male sentenced prison inmates per 100,000 black males in the United States, compared to 1,244 Hispanic male inmates per 100,000 Hispanic males and 471 white male inmates per 100,000 white males.
Most prisons only place the populations in 3 groups Black, White, & Hispanic. From experience some Asians & Sout Americans are grouped with Hispanics and most European nations are considered white including the Arab counries. Anyone else they consider to look black (African descent) is grouped as Black. Also this is Males Only!
