What r the chances of a work permit granted for a admin ast? From india to uk?how stressful is the situation 4 the employer?

Depends on the wealth of the company, and their connections into Congress and the INS.

In general, the big companies who contribute lots to the political parties have no problems.

Little companies can look forward to investing $2500 and waiting 2-6 years before the permit is granted of refused. Out the money in either case.

I have a small company, and been there. But not yet done that.

The government loves uneducated illegals as they can be manipulated in voting. They hate people who are intelligent and can think, even if they are only over on a green card...unless they also can pay off our unimpeachably honest congressmen!

Best solution seems to be a carefully disguised marriage-of-convenience. If you can make it look real for 5 years, then everybody is home free.
