I love your argument that it was different for immigrants before?

Some of you say that immigration laws did not exist when the english explorers came here, killed the indians and took over their land, or when the first 2 waves of immigrants came here. So what you are saying is that your parents and grandparents that came during the first 2 waves of immigration(if you dont know when that was then get a better education) are in some way better then the people that emmigrate here today? Because back then you could just come to america without waiting for years. So all you "proud american citizens" would never even be here if your parents did not emigrate here(legally or not it was easy before). Also, who cares if law is law? Most of these people are just like your family - they escaped hunger and poverty - and who cares if they had to break the law to do it - justice is above law.

P.S. - For those illegal aliens who commit crimes while in U.S. and are on welfare/medicare/gov assistance I do not support them.

Answer:
I agree with what you said.

also, I don't know why those anti-illegals "hate" undocumented immigrants. There are far more Americans sitting in prisons for doing far worse crimes like murder and rape, those are the real criminals. they did an illegal act, aren't they illegal? Hate them.
So just so I get this correct. It was different anywhere else in the world..INCLUDING SOUTH AMERICA...how?
To answer your arguement ONCE AGAIN, yes they are worse. Simple reason, that for some reason you can't understand but that's no suprise, is because they are breaking the law. Do you care for me to list my stats again on illegal immigrant crimes?

The funniest part of your post is that YOU are advocating a person to get a "better education" LMAO! That's the best thing I've ever seen you post. HAHAHAHA.

And since you can't seem to understand let me spell it out for you. You private msg'd me asking where I got my "BS" from. You wanted a source and I supplied it to you. Yet again you prove you ability to be lazy to not go back and look at them again or not to even look at them in the first place. Which one is it? Too lazy to look at them again or you just didn't look at them to begin with? Just in case you are too lazy here you go for the 4th time:

and lets not forget

There ya go. Now when you can actually prove those "made up stats" to be wrong I'd be happy to listen to your dribble. Until then...go to bed junior.

Hey Jeter let me fill ya in on something. Anytime I break the law I suffer the concequences that go along with breaking the law. The concequences for entering into the United States illegally is deportation. Odd you can seem to understand that. Well maybe it's not odd after all, you reasoning and understanding that is LOL.See Ya!
"P.S. - For those illegal aliens who commit crimes while in U.S. and are on welfare/medicare/gov assistance I do not support them."

News flash for you. They committed a crime when they ILLEGALLY entered the USA. I guess that by your own words, you don't support illegals.

Logic...the other white meat.

LOL
The laws are put in for a reason. I immigrated to here legally. If you open up the borders, everyone starts coming, the population increases dramatically, people who are here legally start to actually lose their jobs. The illegal immigrants don't pay taxes, and you would be surprised how many are on some form of government assistance.
yet again let me say that this is all history repeating itself
when the Irish came over they were mostly Roman Catholics coming from a poor country in search of a better life
when they got to the US they were often denied jobs just because they were Irish hmmmm. who does that sound like today
No, my great grand parents came here legally, as do millions of other immigrants today. The difference is between legal and illegal. Americans love immigrants, the kind that want to become Americans.
Pretty soon Jconly's gonna start saying "Illegal means illegal". That statementis so dumb. For any wrong that he's done he should get the worst possible punishment also.
My question is: Are today;s immigrants worse because the laws are stricter?

YES YES YES, its next to impossible to come here legally. Unless you have family, employment sponsor, a sport sponsor, you cannot come here.Ever seen Canada's requirements?? They are so much easier...

One last thing, the immigrants that came over from Europe, were NOT exactly saints. Many were criminals fleeing their homeland.Remember the Irish, Jewish and Italian gangs, they didn't become gangs when they got here, they were already criminals.
It is not an argument,it is a fact, immigrants before assimilated and didnt get government assistance. What part of plopping out 10 kids for a free ride ride dont you understand?
hmmm i seem to remember living in 2007 shoot! i must have time traveled...
They were better, they actually wanted to be Americans.
The border can be open, or it can be closed. If it is open, then it is open for drug smugglers, terrorists, criminals, the mentally insane and incompetent, professional victims, and those wishing to circumvent the import export laws! (It goes both ways. Mexico is complaining that it's ban against Chinese imports is being circumvented by smugglers who bring Chinese products over the border going the other way.)

This issue isn't just about immigrants. You can go down to I-10 (the local freeway that snakes through El Paso) and see mothers with infants begging at the gateways and in the front entrances of stores. They do not live on this side of the border, cannot communicate with anyone, and can't seem to understand that standing in 100 degree heat with an infant is not a good idea.

I don't claim to be better than anybody by the way. I have a sincere respect for the work ethic and sense of family responsibility that the Mexican and Mexican Americans in this area show in their everyday lives. Your argument fails to take into account that there are worse crimes than illegal immigration going on here.

People are dying in the deserts, in the back of trailers, in hotel rooms, and in tunnels. Others are being victimized because they depend on criminals to get them to the promised land where they can work and make some money for their families. Still more are being ripped off by their employers and by the people they have to rely on to watch out for them because they have no legal voice in this country. Women are being promised honest employment and when they get here they find out that the only option they have is prostitution. How can that be a viable option for anyone?

In the meantime, serious crimes are going on all around this issue. Drugs are moving across the border, people are being traded back and forth like commodities, and criminals are moving to whichever side gives them less trouble at the moment. Illegal immigration is just the tip of the iceberg here.

Yes, I am a great great grandchild of immigrants, at least partially. A small percentage of my ancestry is Native Canadian, but I am mostly Irish, Welsh, and French. When my people came across however, there was a process in place and they went through it. The first settlers made treaties with the indigenous people (and promptly broke them) bu there was still a process. For the safety and respect of everyone on both sides, there needs to be a legal process and it needs to be upheld. Not out of hatred, not out of a lack of respect, and not out of spite or bitterness, but for everyone's welfare.
I don't think so, I don't think some people had committed crimes because inmigration issues, now I had seen some breaking the law or shooting his fellow workers because of the stressy system and the fast life that is obvious in this country, and regarding about the ancestrals of the so call americans or caucasians here they seem to have amnesia, cause by the time of the famous depression time it was a whole bunch of other races already in here.
My people have been here from the first sunrise, this is MY country.
You are free to defend it or get the hell out of the way and go home. Prove that you love this country, Volunteer for military duty.
Do that and I will respect your words, until then, your only making the same noises as a child who cannot yet talk.
I agree with you. It shouldn't be a crime to come here in search of something better for your family or to escape persecution, danger, war, etc.; that's what this country was founded-on and that's what it should continue to be. For all of those that say that illegals don't pay taxes and use-up all of our resources, they add approximately 10 billion dollars more than they take out to our economy each year! Again, the problem is that the government does not provide for those states that are paying for their education and medical needs. If the government appropriated the funds correctly this debate would probably not even be occurring because there would be nothing to complain about. All those committing crimes OTHER THAN crossing the border should be deported, legal or not.
