When they take the oath to become a citizen of the United States, they vow to take up arms to defend it if called upon. Most of what you mention is already law that once again is not being enforced.
So how many illegals do you think we can count on to chase their relatives (the drug cartel, rapists and murderers) back into the land they came from?

I understand that you are concerned about the Us being overpopulated by illegal immigrants. but what do you mean "what we should do with the ones that stay here legally" If you were planning on saying something related to them getting low class jobs that most people don't want, they are already doing them to make a living. Someone who lived in your family immigrated to the US a very long time ago which is the only reason your here today, so dont act like you have more of a right to be here then they do. if an immigant is here legally, get over it *****, they are just as important as you. and why is it that when the term "immigrant" is said, the first thing that pops into people's head is Latin America, there are people from other places in the world immigrating too! and what do you mean by "we have enough immigrants to last a lifetime:..HELLO! they arent comming over here for you! they are comming over here for opportunity! It doesn't work. There's something called "Equal Protection" in the Constitution, and it means (more or less) that you can't require things of one group of people that you don't require of every one else. We don't make punk kids who grew up in Ohio register to vote or do national service, so we wouldn't be allowed to single out naturalized citizens and force them to do these things.
Treating people nicely is the surest way to get them to be loyal to you.
Insisting that they learn English is an excellent idea.
Forcing them to fly an American flag doesn't make people good citizens, nor is it moral to force such a silly thing.
Besides, flying a flag doesn't make you a good citizen. Upholding the founding ideals of the nation does.
Forcing people to work in government service is not in line with the founding ideals of the country: 'natural rights'.

Learning English should definitly be a requirement. Other than that this is a free country and unfortunitly you can't tell people what kind of music, religion, or culture to follow. I feel its all about education.. turn off the Spanish TV for one. Stop printing everything in spanish and english.. the problem has gotten so out of hand that there is now a market to target illegal aliens

No, I don't agree with you on these ideas. I do think English should be declared the national language and I believe immigrants should be able to speak and read English (at least enough to communicate with people here) before being allowed to immigrate to the US and before they can have citizenship, they should be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of the language. Otherwise, no, I don't agree with your ideas here and I consider myself anti-illegal immigration, but pro-legal immigration.
