Who thinks those "You don't speak for me" people wannabes?

No.I think they are people who are proud to be American and abide by the word of law. If where you came from is so darn great then what the heck are you doing here? Maybe they are glad to be away from the corruption and poverty and are glad and thankful to be here and don't want to see this country go the way Mexico has. There are other hispanic cultures besides Mexico and from conversations I've had with people they don't even want Mexico lumped in with them.
From what I have seen of some of the behavior that is supposidly part of their "culture"...I'd hate it too. I would be ashamed to say I was part of that and would want to distance myself as much as possible from people like that.
I feel the same way. We're one country with one elected President. We need to support both. If they can't do that, they should go where they think they will be heard and appreciated.
I really don't know anything about them but nobody speaks for me... them or the people who say x amount of Americans are against amnesty.. I speak for myself.

Could be they are proud to be AMERICAN citizens of the USA and are fed up with their tax money supporting people who come here illegally without going through the same process as THEY or other immigrants have done. Being "anti-illegal immigration" doesn't mean they hate their heritage or culture..it means they are against illegal immigration from ANY country. Keep it in perspective.
"ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS" cannot join our armed forces. If they have documentation and are waiting for the process to become a citizen, they can join our armed forces to speed up the process. ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS have NO legal documentation to be in our country, they CAN NOT join our armed forces.
Report law breakers.
Uphold our laws and constitution.
Lose the snake and eagle
and raise the stars and stripes.
By all means speak as you wish at home and eat as you wish.
They sound to me like people who did it legally, and want others to do likewise. If they did everything the right way, and watched others think they were above the law, yes they sure as heck should be upset.
That is what makes America great, the freedom to express your opinion.

Maybe it is BECAUSE they DO remember where they come from that they are like this. They see the illegal aliens as they are right now...invaders! Invaders into the USA who are bringing down their paychecks and taking their jobs without being a citizen...all so the majority can send BACK the money to their country of origin.
Patriots are those they will stand up for the GOOD of the nation, not any one Corp. OR for another country but they are LOYAL ONLY to the USA.
What is different about them? They remembered that stealing was wrong? And that crossing the borders is illegal? Hmm...sounds like they are loyal USA CITIZENS.
