Thanks to your generous donation, your stretch of highway will be guarded 24 hours a day 7 days a week by an unemployed person willing to make minimum wage. But really, if you were to look to a private company to protect your interests and in no way like taxes as it would be spent on just this one progam, how much? .50 cents a day? $1. what's border $ecurity really worth to you?

I've never actually seen the negative side effects from illegal immigration. Have you, or were they just rumors or family stories?
That doesn't sound like a bad idea. I'm in! Because in the long run our taxes will decrease some because of less people abusing our system.

I'd rather have taxes raised to fund border security than to fund socialized health care, or any other socialist ideal, any day.

Wow. Thats an interesting question. I guess it would depend on if the company was reputable. Also, are you talking about a private company and what authority would they really have?
However, I suppose if each legal resident of this country would pitch in $1 per day, that would pay for a great deal of security - again, if the authority would really be there.

My taxes are already going towards an effective immagration policy. The problem is it is not being enforced. The question is not how much are you willing to pay. Its who are you going to vote for?
Also, we are spending mroe taxes on a wall that was supposed to be built. Where is the wall?
Its sickening how politicians throw money around for domestic issues and we never see them through. All that happens is that its another debating topic 4 years later.
I would be willing to pay to secure the border so that all those jobs the illegal aliens are stealing can go to American citizens and legal resident aliens (that actually speak English).

secure the borders we would collect $18,000,000,000
(18 billion) per year to build and support the wall and
guard it, all with private money.
$1.00 per day from each citizen would be $108 billion a year
This is not much to keep our borders safe, I'd pay my
fair share, even double or triple if need be.
