The Candidates say what they are going to do about illegal immigration , but why don't we ask them ,?
It's easy to say what you would like to do , the hard part is coming up with a plan to do it .
That's what I want to hear , the plan on illegal immigration .
How will you do a back ground checks ?
How will you identify who is a criminal and how will we know what diseases they have ? Lets hear a plan !

You hit the nail on the head girlfriend. That is why Teddy put the 24 hour limit on the background check. He thought he was so sly that we wouldn't see through that ridiculous plan. He KNEW that the US Government can't do anything in 24 hours which would have meant everyone gets a visa.
On issues that are this critical, we need to have an implementation plan. We need to know that what is being suggested is actually doable. You notice Teddy didn't invite the Border Patrol behind the closed doors to get their opinion.
The real question to me is this. All of our Senators claim that they want enforcement of our borders. Why is it they feel they cannot do that unless we grant amnesty to 20 million illegal aliens?
I think what they really mean is that they want amnesty period.

Why not enforce the laws that we already have and then FUND the law enforcement agencies for doing their jobs?
Its simple, they don't have one. They want you to think that you have one. They get your votes on what the pre conceived notion that they are there to help. In the beginning it appears to work but it really doesn't. Just like Welfare, it doens't actually solve anything, it justs shuts them up.
corporate donors are the closest to the politicians. they raise big cash, and they offer free jets for travel. etc etc. corporation wants illegal alians to keep entering so they can use them. we will never solve the problem. maybe it's manifest destiny.
We need a pragmatist for our next president...one that just shuts up and gets it done.

How can you legalise illegals? Demagogues know this well. But, political compulsions make them talk one thing and take action in different direction.
