When in April 2007 will the green card application fee double?

Answer:
Its open for public comments. It cannot be in Apr 2007 since its open for comments from public. Go to this page.

They will review the comments and then decide on the fee raise. As of now there is no set date. Generally 60-90 days after published in the federal register.

choose USCIS for agency and it will bring up the fee raise which is open for comments. Submit your comments. Some thing like if USCIS guarantees processing applications in 6 month period no matter what. USCIS is such a mess that there are applications waiting for years to be approved/denied. The fee raise doesnt make sense with out any guaranteed SLA.

Hell i hope they triple it stay in your own country
I haven't heard of any price increases for immigration fees. I went to the USCIS website and in the 'Press Room' there is something, I think from Jan 2007, about doing a study on how fees are based. It sounded like some prices were going to go up but it should cover the whole process, not an individual form. So the new fee for adjustment of status would go up around $100 to a total of, for instance, $900, where if each application typically filed in the process were increased it would be a $500 increase.
