Can some1 tell me a great way or technque tht will help me study 4 my citizenship test?
Answer:
I think of learning History as learning a true story.
All the facts you need to remember within, fall into place one after the other because it is a story of what happened a long time ago. All the names and dates are real.
Record yourself on a tape asking the questions and then answering them and play it back on a walkman and listen to it on your way to work or whenever
Flash cards work best for me. That way you can put the question on one side and the answer on the other, and when you know a question you can put it aside and study only the remaining questions. Then at the end go through them all again. Good luck!
You probably know that you can get study materials at uscis.gov (put 'naturalization' into the search bar.)
I would use flash cards. :0) Good luck my Hubby is taking it in July!
If you were studying, take a class, make notes & study them, read information given to you. Basically the same way you study for anything. Reading out loud helps me - I hear it then I remember it. Good luck!!
My husband took the test over 25 years ago,he just read lots of books and memorized everything he could.Good luck, and congratulations....
I say first of all that congratulations and thanks for wanting to do things the legal way. Understand that the purpose of you learning American history and government will only help you to understand us. Your study should be as much for the understanding us as it is for the citizenship test. America isn't perfect but it is great because of the people who made it.
