Why do people migrate to the US because it is so great?
If you wanted to come here because you like what it offers, which is obviously something more than what where you came from offered you,then why tear it down?

the democrats encourage immigration for that purpose.it is their purpose in life to change our way of life and they are using illegals for that gain. wake up America!

Because they want it all and want it now. They come from hell holes with no rights and then think that they are entitled to the world when they get here but the joke is on us because we allow them to get away with it.
I heard there's a big rush on citizenship applications. Are those folks doing so because of a sudden love for the opportunities in America or a love for the government goodies of America? Hmmmmmmm.
That is very true, and some of them have left behind a life of squalor, with no hope for them or their children, risk death to come here, then have the audacity to wave their flag in our face and tell us we have no culture, or call us lazy.and tell us what they do for us, It amazes me.the total lack of humility and grace that they have.
only moved here due to my husband being in the US Navy...nice place but there are lots of other GREAT places in the world, some I have lived in and others I hope to see over the years.
As for changing the country well there are MANY great things about the country and a few that truly do not work, but many other countries systems just would not work due to the vastness in size of the USA....a concept that is very hard for the average european to fully understand till they are here.
For instance I drive a certain distance to work every day that I would NOT have dreamed of doing back in the UK..but its very much the norm here.....and at least you do have nice straight roads lol lol
Just remember many people do not come here to escape their home countries...mine works just fine thanks but we picked the USA as it was the most convenient for both his work and many other factors.

It isn't about what we had in our home country or what we want, it's about what we are willing to do to support our families. I mean it's like any American, white or black, goes to another country because the place where they came from doesn't give them what they need to support their own families. Wouldn't you all want what's best for your family? That's all we're doing, trying to support our families. And anyone who thinks otherwise, send me a message or something
Excuse me, but Mexicans are our allies. They haven't done anything to our communitys.
Immigration is when people from one country move to another with the intent of becoming a member of their new country's society. They do so legally, and once here strive very hard to learn our language, laws and culture. They maintain their heritage, but instow in their children the blessing of being in the USA and how it gives them opportunities that they would have never had in their native country. They ensure that their children learn English and require no special considerations. this is what is referred to as assimilation.
The ones that want to change the US are the ones that have no respect for our laws, yet want our civil liberties; they don't respect our culture, yet demand we respect theirs.
Basically the difference is immigration versus invasion.

There is a lack of orientation for newcomers to America.
Immigrants learn a lot about America from outside of America and want to come here, based on this incomplete picture. Upon arrival they learn more stuff such as a Democratic system where the people strive to improve the place, so we all have a civic duty to try to improve it more.
Of course different people have different views on what is an improvement, and this is not something limited to immigrants.
