The United States does not recognize dual citizenship. When you applied to become a U.S. Citizen, and when it was granted, to the U.S. you are a U.S. Citizen. And until you renounce your U.S. Citizenship, you will be until you die a U.S. Citizen.
You can travel to U.K. and enter the U.K. and live in the U.K. as a U.K. Citizen without loosing you U.S. Citizenship.
The US does not recognize dual citizenship. The U.K does recognize dual citizenship, you can work in the U.K.. It should not cause problems but you will need to do your taxes differently in the future.
typically from what i know when you become a US citizen you denounce all former citizen-ships. but i don't see any reason why you cant work there the us military personnel overseas in Germany and other areas some work part time in those countries
