Who cares, nobody would have bothered to ask the same question if Bill Gates would have been named richest for the umpteenth time in a row.
What do I think of it? Not much. I don't care how much money he has, you stick him in a strawberry field somewhere and he'll know what to do.
How many of his Mexican countrymen did he fleece, cheat, and step on to get there? Show me the richest Mexican in the world and I'll show you the most corrupt P.O.S. out of the lot of them.
Bill Gates ain't no damn hero, neither ... and big deal if the richest is Mexican ... what's he gonna do, BUY citizenship for the 12 million or more USA invaders?
I'm just proud for him, I am hispanic, an inmigrant also, and seems like so many people think that only other races are entitled to be rich and famous, VIVA MEXICO, and don't get me wrong I do mad respect for Billy Gates, he's very humble also, I always read about him, and a very good thing HE HELPS A LOT OF POOR PEOPLE (that's why GOD give him more money all the time), CAUSE WHEN YOU HAVE A LOT YOU HAVE TO SHARE IT WITH THE LESS FORTUNATE

I think it would be nice if he would use some of his wealth to help the poor people of Mexico. It would be nice to build schools, factories, rows of homes, hospitals, etc. Any thing he could do with some of his money to help his country, would be a big plus.Bill Gates has a Foundation that helps many people.

Gates is a philanthropist who has set up several foundations .. particularly fond of supporting education .
Having said that--it's Slim's Money, he earned it and it is his right to spend it -- or not -- however he sees fit. He doesnt owe philanthropy to anyone.
But he also doesn't even begin to need or use what he has.

I think with the drug cartels down there, there are probably alot of wealthy Mexicans. Especially since we support their poor.
