Why are Muslims villified and branded as terrorists?

Well first let's take a look at jihad the war to end the lives of all who are not Muslim! It's got to give you pause, don't you think? Personally, I have no respect for any people that treat their women as a possession with no respect. I think that it is barbaric and inhumane that they have to wear all the garbage in extreme weather. Some I've talked with said it is an honor to wear this stuff and I say they are brainwashed from birth to be treated as sheep or cattle. If it's only the Zealots then why do other Muslims cover their a*ses and protect the terrorists?
A few of them unfortunately ruin their international reputation. There are a lot of Muslims that just want peace.
Because the media tends to focus on the Muslims and Islamists that happen to have a desire to destroy the Western world and our way of life. They chose not to focus on the fact that there are plenty of Muslims who don't share that goal. PBS actually pulled a documentary illustrating that difference. I was fortunate to see the same documentary on Foxnews.
I don't know if those figures are accurate.I work for a Muslim, and he is one of the best bosses I have ever worked for..Don't think every Muslim is evil, because the ones I have met are GOOD people.Their is bad in every culture...
These supposed peace seeking Muslims need to make more noise than. They need to control their own community better. Weed out the bad apples among them.

i have an idea of how hard it must be to be muslim from the arab countries...watching blood shed from the time you're a toddler...it ...the mindset, can't be changed overnight. i think most people from civilized nations are afraid of people who don't value their lives or even the lives of their own children...fix that and you solve the puzzle, dear.
Muslims are most peaceful than any other in this world. These are all misconceptions. In fact tolerance in getting shorter and shorter in this world.

Not all muslims are terrorist but all present day terrorist are muslims and most of the ones who aren't support it in some way so they deserve to be thought of as terrorist untill large groups of muslims come out against terrorism instead of only trying to defend their religion saying it is peaceful and under attack by the west.
P.S. the guy above me should do some investigating before saying islam is the most peaceful religion on earth seeing as how almost all major conflicts in the world involve muslims bringing war upon their neighbors and every terrorist attack of the past 12 years has been carried out by muslims.
If anyone knows of any terrorist attacks involving non-muslims in the past 12 years let us know.
I don't think that muslims are branded as terrorists by the smart people in society. Anybody who has a clue knows that the people responsible for terror such as in Britain, Spain, and 9/11 were a relatively small extremist group of muslims and not representative of the consensus of all muslims. Now, obviously if you type in "muslim terrorist" or "islamic terrorist" you are going to get enormous amounts of hits because the currently notorious terrorists just happen to be muslims. Although I am not a muslim, I have many muslim friends who utterly reject the ideas of al qaida and other such terrorist organisations. If you want a perhaps more accurate measure of the perception of muslims as terrorists you should take the number of your hits and divide by the number of hits when you type in islam and muslim, without terrorist afterwards.
Not all Muslims are terrorists but all terrorists have been Muslims.
