What happens if you apply for adjustment of status and you dont have affidavit of support or I-864form?

what are you supposed to do if there is nobody that can do it for you? just serious answers,please!

Answer:
Unfortunately the law will not allow you to immigrate unless you have a sponsor that is financially able to support you. Your sponsor completes the Affidavit of Support, Form I-864, to show the U.S. gov't that you should be allowed to immigrate because they have the resources to prevent you becoming what is known as a public charge.
Unfortunatly, that is a required document and you will need that to get your status changed! Sorry!
