Can i work/stay after completing my master(engineering) in usa??
Answer:
Yes you can. Right after you graduate from school, you should be able to apply OPT program, which allows you to work in the US full time for ONE year. Within this year, you have to find a sponsor (employer) that is willing to sponsor you H1B or green card (usually it would be H1B, since green card takes longer). If you can't find any job within this year, then you must leave this country and find an US employer in your home country and ask them to sponsor you, and come back in again.
You can apply for an H1B if you get an employer to sponsor you, the visas open up in April. If you graduate before then there MAY be some left specifically for those who get a Masters or above in the US, there were some last time I saw something on that. I am not sure if there are now, though. Otherwise you would have to apply for a one year internship visa to take you until when H1Bs open again, as I understand it.
