We Mexicanos are honest people who work outrageously hard to pass all obstacles & then succeed. We're America!

Immigration bills come,
Immigration bills go,

We Abide!

Why was this question erased before?
Is anyone in this forum jealous at us, Mexicanos?

Why?

Answer:
If you are so wonderful, and industrious, and well intentioned and just the greatest people ever to draw breath, why aren't you back in your own country working for reform and justice there? Seems to me that you want the rewards of a free market and capitalist system, but to lazy to establish the same thing in your country. We don't need lectures from criminals, nor do we desire to keep supporting your medical and social needs. GO HOME. You have no idea how close this situation is to becoming a matter of vigilante justice. That my friend, is not far off.
Us gringos just get hung up on the rule of law a lot.
No, you don't abide. If you are an illegal alien and stay here then you are STILL BREAKING OUR LAWS.
I am willing to say that some of you are honest and hard working.
Sorry, but those here illegally are not honest and who cares how hard they work to send money back to mexico?
The only way you are going to improve what people think of you is to start working to improve your own country. (It needs it)!
We are fed up with too many taking from us.
This bill is as dead as a doornail. Now it's time to begin the deportations. The American people spoke, and for ONCE the idiot politicians listened.
Nobody doubts that Mexicans are hard working.
What obstacles are you talking about you mean the border fence or Border Patrol Agents?
If you abide then you come here legally.
I really doubt that anyone is Jealous of Mexicans it seems you are jealous of us Americans that is why you break the law to come here.
I see you are capable of speaking or at least writing English thanks to Americans paying for your education.
Deport Deport Deport
>>>Is anyone in this forum jealous at us, Mexicanos?<<<

I hope not. We just hope that you obey American laws, regarding immigration or anything else. We ask that of everybody, not just Mexicans.

.
I like Mexicans, but I hate the gang behavior some bring with them. That is why I'm against illegal immigration. It doesn't matter if they come from the south or north I want to make sure criminals are kept out.
Let the deportations begin!!!!!!11
Hold on paisano!
The Democratic Party and NCLR, and The Mexican anti-defamation league, are working together to grant Amnesty, and Full Rights to undocumented Mexican tax payers in USA.

Just wait. Fidel Castro and GW Bush won't be oppressing Latinos forever. The people is more powerful than a tyrant or a President.
Yeah, if you are illegal you need to go! Also, enough with that "your splitting up families." That is bull! If the illegals' families are that important to them then they can ALL leave together. The bill should never pass because the LAW IS THE LAW!!

Jealous is the last thing, we, as legal Americans, are!
Why would an American be jealous of a Mexican?
Jealous of what exactly ?
I see no benefit in it and I doubt anyone on this list, other than a Mexican, would see any reason to be jealous. Anyone who is jealous is a very insecure person.
That's great!
Do it LEGALLY!
Better yet, Get your dishonest Mexican Government, your criminal police and your corrupt military to give you and your families opportunity at home by riding yourself of control by elitists, and instituting a free enterprise system where you may benefit from the fruits of you labor?
Wouldn't you rather be at home with your family and enjoying a resurgence of your own culture?
WHile your question isn't very specific, I agree and hope that mexicanos are honest, hard working people. If you are implying illegal aliens are in that same boat, I would beg to differ. How can someone breaking the law be considered Honest? If you are in a country illegally, not paying taxes that citizens pay, breaking laws just by being somewhere, how can you suppose to be honest? I am not saying that the workers don't provide a service, but I am also not saying Mexicanos ARE AMERICA. There are so many factors involved, not in the least bit the employers who prey on and exploit the workers they pay.

America is only as good as it's people and it's culture. Assimilation is key. If all immigrants would assimilate and become part of America, then there would be less issues.
Yes, I'd agree. The LEGALLY resident Mexicans I know are very hard working worthwhile members of our society. The ILLEGAL aliens are criminals and need to be sent home.

NO AMNESTY EVER!
Legal? Great.

Illegal? Get out.
Your question could have been erased by accident by the system. Can't see where it would cause a stir or qualify as a community violation unless you got complaints about it from "well wishers" like your "fan" LibSuck. I don't think Americans are jealous of Mexicans generally. The resentment you may be getting is due to anger at the illegals misusing our tax money, and yours as well, Soy if you are one of those "hardworking Mexicans" you speak about. I have a problems with the illegals here just like Mexican people would have a problem with me if I entered Mexico illegally and expected that nation to support me and address me only in English...that could cause some resentment if your people had no say in the matter as is happening here. Your "We Abide" motto can be seen as Mexicans are willing to hang in there and get their citizenship or as a challenge announcing their unwillingness to become citizens.
yes they are jealous and scared that they are the minority in their own country like I said and I'll say it again I been having a baby every two years now proud mommy of four and guess what so have my sisters, cousins, aunts, and friends we are a huge family of Mexicanos so we are becoming the majority in this country fortunately we are legal and will try all possibilities in the future and now to help out the undocumented Mexicanos.
You may be a "Mexicano" to you, but to the rest of us, you're a Mexican. Nobody, of which I am aware, has said anything different regarding your assertion about hard work and honesty. However, those of you who have come to this country illegally are, by definition, not honest people. Dispute that all you want, but the truth of the statement remains. Regarding the part of your question about anyone being jealous of Mexicans; Like you, I have seen some really dumb, stupid, and ignorant statements and questions on these pages. You, however, win first prize with that lame bit of egregiousness!
If you were "honest" then you would become US Citizens like the rest of the immigrants who came to the US.

Americans work just as hard as you. How do you think the jobs got done before?????

Mexico is NOT part of the US.

You abide with what??? US laws, US customs? We both know the answer to that is NO!!!!
Viva Mexico!
yes u may be hard workers..but u dont have to go let everyone know your business. people like you are the ones who we dont want in USA.
What the hell is a Mexicano? Your either Mexican or American this is our freaking country loser. If you want to be a Mexicano get a one way ticket south and don't come back. If your people that are legal and citizens would quit calling themselves Mexicans on our soil then we'd be more tolerant. Get rid of those creepy flags. There okay at Six Flags over Texax because it reminds us that we kicked your *** all those years ago and thats the only place for a Mexican flag. Mexico is corrupt lousy country anyway. Solve that problem Mexicano.
We Mexicanos are a chosen nation by God.
I like Mexicanos! Hell, I left a lot of money in the cribs in TJ. It wouldn't surprise me if some of the wetbacks are kin to me or the other 1,000's of Marines who used your dump stations. BUT--you miss the point--if you are in the USA illegally--you are breaking the law and need your a## kicked back south! Don't drop any more pups on the way!! USMC 60-68
All you do is break the law, demand, disrespect and whine. I hardly call that abiding.
I have to Agree with you,I know a lot of immigrants and I think that they are being treated unfairly. They come over here and do the jobs that most people will not, they pay taxes and never get a return, they have to pay for their citizenship! and people take advantage of them. There is enough room for people of all cultures.
First of all, F.Y.I : America includes all countries in Central AMERICA, South AMERICA, and North AMERICA, not just the United States.

I do agree with those that state that a primary goal should be improving life in our own home countries, yet when social/economic/political oppression and corruption is so extreme it is hard to do so. Individuals must meet their most urgent and basic needs such as shelter/food/clothing and poverty impedes such things in our less developed countries, therefore immigration occurs.

I do not think USA is jealous of Mexico, for they're both beautiful countries; both with qualities and flaws.

And as someone commented, education is not just being paid by "Americans" but by immigrants from other countries as well who have attained a legal status. By the way, whoever commented on country representation and flagging, get serious, I'm sure many individuals who have several generations born in the USA still claim to be of England, Spain, France, or any other European country just to feel foreign or exotic. For instance, a Caucasian may still claim to be English just because their great great great...grandfather was from England.

Besides, claiming nationalities is simply a way to show pride. Because although economically our countries may be a mess they still hold great cultural value.

Also, I do agree that we as immigrants have the duty to assimilate to a new nation that provides us opportunities.
One last thought, not all immigrants are criminals, we are NOT all corrupt individuals, killers, or rapists.

Moreover, all crimes committed in this nation are not caused by immigrants, a great number of crimes is committed by individuals who are born here and not necessarily of Hispanic descent.

Immigrants have also contributed to this country in the fields of science, entertainment, technology, sports, literature, the military among others. Examples below from a source cited at the end for further reference.

César Chávez (1927-1993), founder of the United Farm Workers Union, gained recognition for the workers who harvest this nation's produce.

Dr. Severo Ochoa won the Nobel Prize in Medicine and Physiology for his discovery of RNA (ribonucleic acid), one of the chemical building blocks of life.

Desi Arnaz, introduced the "three camera" technique (now the staple of the industry) for shooting a TV situation comedy. Arnaz was also the first to use film to preserve TV shows for re-runs. The I Love Lucy series he produced remains one of the most loved and watched series of all time.

In science in 1968, Luis Alvarez won the Nobel Prize for his work with subatomic particles. As a teacher and researcher at the University of California at Berkeley, he helped develop microwave beacons, a ground-controlled landing approach for aircraft, and a new theory for why the dinosaurs became extinct.

Also, in 1995, Mario Molina, of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, along with two other scientists, won the Nobel Prize in chemistry for research that helped the world confront the threat that chlorofluorocarbons pose to the earth's protective ozone layer.

American literature has also felt the Hispanic influence. We can remember the "Tales of Alhambra" by Washington Irving. The works of O. Henry have stimulated our imaginations with the stories of the Cisco Kid and Zorro. It has been said that to understand Mark Twain best, you must read Cervantes.

The literary ploy of Don Quijote and Sancho Panza is recreated in the relationship between Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn. Ernest Hemingway was obsessed with the virtues and contradictions of Hispanic society and won world recognition in portraying them in "The Sun Also Rises".

Fun facts from a source cited at the end:

There are 2,000 or more cities and towns in the United States with Spanish names, which appear in every state in the union.

Anglo Americans borrowed many terms related to the type of architecture they found in the Southwest, e.g., portal, adobe, ramada, cabana, hacienda, patio and presidio. Many animal and insect names, such coyote, mosquito and jaguar, originated in the Spanish language.

The lingo of the cowboy, that symbol of American vitality and product of the Mexican vaquero, is directly traceable to the Hispanic original.

Mexicans gave birth to the cattle industry of this country. It was the Mexican who took the cattle, sheep and horses, which the Spaniard brought to this continent, and transformed and passed on the concept and art of ranching to the Anglo American.

Thank you. =]

P.S. United States citizens, please don't be so xenophobic, don't worry, you too are great.
Yes, you are right. And if this question gets deleted, you will have your answer, if the people in this forum are jealous of the Mexicans.
