Why is Los Angeles considered a sanctuary city, yet the mayor is asking for Fed. Assistance to fight gangs?

This does not seem quite fair to me. If you welcome and shelter and cater to illegals, you need to suffer the consequences.

Perhaps the mayor supports the hard working immigrants, who want to better their lives and communities, but want to kick out the gang and drug elements in his community.Your assuming ALL illegals are gang members? Not true.

It's not fair. They basicly asked for the problem, don't want to take the necessary measures to fight it...I'm with you..you asked for it.you got it...deal with it.
