Do you think they want to assimilate into American Culture?
Answer:
Actions speak louder than words: they have no intention to do so... in fact, they expect us to assimilate into THEIRS.
Over my dead body.
Study a bit of history of immigration history and come back to us. These are arguments are centuries old.
If they don't want to be here they could just take all there new toys and go home?
No. They are just here for the handouts. They should take their raggedy asses back to Mexico. Those vultures make me physically ill.
Flying another nation's flag over one of our government buildings is not only a crime, it is a DISGRACE.
Shame on America for tolerating such behavior.
The want to be here, for our money.
No I don't.
That was wrong on so many levels. I read some of the comments on this also and the one that gets to me is where someone spouts off we are taking over California it belonged to Mexico.
I can't believe that.
If they wanted to assimilate into our society, they'd have gone through the legal process to begin with. As far as I'm concerned, we have 12-20 million unconvicted felons in our national livingroom trying to tell us what we should do.
Not going to happen.
They don't want to assimilate they want to destroy this country and we see more and more proof of that everyday.
From what I see and hear of interviews from "most" immigrants from Mexico, their government and schools teach their kids to hate America and all it stands for. They're STILL angry with us for the land we got after the Mexican/American War! It is a whole "cult" of them in the Southwest of USA!!
go figger
Nope.
what is American culture, PAris hilton, wheel of fortune, Pepsi, kkk, fatness, ipods, what culture does America actaully have? America is made of the people from all over the world. if they want to wave another flag besides the American one, they can, and you can't tell them to leave. you don't understand this whole culture issue. they can assimilate if they want to.
