I have worked with illegals who I have liked and disliked . If you come here legally then I will back you up as the American citizen you are . Cross the border Illegally and get ready for the fight that is coming . If you want to talk about narrow minded when the US soccer team was on the verge of going to the play offs instead off Mexico how many of your illegal friends got behind there new home land instead of crying about how unfair it was that we should go and not mexico .

Do you know that only about 20% of the U.S. population agrees with you? Im glad the minute men are there. I hope they can keep up the good work. Im just sorry that the real narrow minded cant see that.
I'm sure some of them are prejudice and petty, others not, just like in any group. Obviously they have a certain outlook on the immigration issue and a very harsh attitude about it, but everything they do is legal, and they are not like the KKK committing crimes or terrorizing people. I disagree with most everything they do but luckily for everyone this is a free country and they have a right to do it, and I respect that right and would defend it if the government tried to take it away. I think after Congress fixes the immigration problem that we have now, the momentum of this group and many other immigration groups (both pro and anti) will die down. It is the "hot issue" of the moment so of course they are in the limelight to some extent, just like illegals are. But, these problems have been festering for a long time and this group has been around a long time, I don't think they are going away.
p.s. I think it is a stretch to say they have personal problems or are afraid, I don't know these people so I don't know what is motivating them.
p.p.s. to knight, my husband is illegal and he was betting on the US against Mexico, many immigrants do feel loyalty to their new country, that is why they came here in the first place because Mexico (or whatever country they are from) could not give them a good life!
