With so many people against illegal immigration why is it...?
Do you want the food but not the workers?
Answer:
Yes, we should base our immigration policies on how long it takes to get into a Mexican restaurants for a bunch of yuppies
WOW! that is one logical question. So you are saying since I'm against illegal immigration.. that I shouldn't help the hard working Mexican that are in this country legally
Mexican Restaurants are owned (when actually owned by someone Mexican) by legal immigrants or citizens- as far as illegals.. .they have nothing to do with the restaurants I go too... they broke the law, they violated the security of my country and they need to go packing.
huh? what does immigration have to do with mexican food?
if the food is authentic mexican food, the line is justified, and the anglos in the line more than likely can't get that at home.
You're really stretching there, Slick.
Because when you flat footed the fence you became a law breaker. Rule of Law. And what does food have to do with the equation? Are we not allowed to eat mex food now that you're il-legally here? Get a life...go back home!
How do you equate illegal immigration with "Anglos" in line at a Mexican restaurant?
We are against illegal immigration because:
Education: illegals are overloading our public education and slowing OUR children down with their (the illegal alien children) special needs and other assistance. Paid for by the taxpaying citizens of the US
Hospitals: illegals are using the emergency rooms at most hospitals as a healthcare system and then running off on their bill and causing layoffs as well as increases in our healtcare premiums as well as Medicaid and medicare. Paid for by the taxpaying citizens of the US
Unskilled Labor: They are now taking higher paying unskilled labor jobs such as the mining industry (which pays well) and construction (which pays pretty good) for OUR unskilled workers.
Government Assistance: illegals are delving into government assistance programs such as WIC, medicaid (for kids), welfare (for kids), ESL, interpreter services, education, and other services. At the expense of the US taxpaying citizen.
Who pays the bill for all of that? The US taxpaying citizen
I want people to obey the LAW! What part of that do you not understand?
How would it be if everyone disregarded any laws they did not like?
Maybe I do not like the law that says I could not steal from you? Are you going to support me stealing your property?
And I don't know where you are, but it doesn't "always a two wait to get into all the Mexican restaurants."
So are you lying?
Your question assumes that people are against amnesty for illegal aliens because they don't like Mexicans. That is incorrect and just plain illogical. You assume that all illegal aliens are Mexican which is false. We who oppose illegal immigration are against it because letting in millions of uneducated, unskilled people from foreign cultures who cannot speak English and who do not appreciate Western values is bad for our nation. It has been proven by the Heritage foundation that those families whose parents have less than a high-school education are a great burden on our society because they use $22,000 more in benefits per year than they pay in taxes.

I will not go to a restaurant or any other establishment I even suspect may hire illegals. As best as I can understand your view is that we should not go to ANY Mexican restaurants because there may be illegals (even if we knew this was not the case...just to be safe)? Your question is one of those that tries to twist things into a "racist" arguments because you single out "Mexicans" and "Anglos"...last time I checked there were all kinds of people in Mexican restaurants (both working and eating there) and not all Mexicans are illegal nor are all illegals Mexican. If you want to ask a question don't try to play the race card to warp things...the issue is not about race, it is plain and simple about legal or illegal...about having respect for this country and its citizens and following our laws.
What on earth do the two have to do with each other? We give out more visas LEGALLY to Mexicans than to people from any other country. We aren't against Mexicans, just those people from any country who come here illegally, above our quotas (the most generous in the world.) They ruin our schools and services for our own people, and their children are not more important than our own.
Your food has nothing to do with your immigration status, There are a great many fine folks who have come here legally and not only work in these restaurants but own them.I will gladly patronize these establishments.Don`t think for a second that illegals are the ony working class here, Mostly everyone works their tails off at all different levels. My taste in food has nothing to do with your breaking the law.
I'm not anglo,i'm celt but i'll assume you meant people of European ancestry and answer.
I never wait 2 hours first off for any food but if it came between keeping the food or not keeping the food and sending them home,i'll gladly give up the food.
