How do I withdrawal an affadavit of support for an immigrant?

My husband left me and we are getting a divorce, his cold hearted mother knew about this, and has not called to offer support. She has an evil heart, and has been a sponge, the whole time she has lived here, which has been about 6 years. I don't need to be responsible for her anymore, she has her, sugar daddy son, to sponge off of now. I just want to clear myself from anything dealing with her, including sponsorship, how do I do this? I live in California.

If she is still under petition and you and your soon to be ex-husband are sponsoring her, you might have an impact if you divorce before she adjust status. File for divorce and once is finalize go to your CIS office and advised them that you no longer are sponsoring for her. Do not go to any interviews on her behalf.

Why is the mother cold hearted , because she knew he was leaving you? That is not here place to get involved with your relationship. But still send her packing so you can start your new life. How sexy are you?..lol
after six years of being here, she is probably already eligible for getting her greencard and no longer needs your sponsorship, however, you can goto the local immigration office and ask them..look them up in the blue pages with the rest of the govt offices. contact them with your issue.
I'm sorry that I can't help you. If he married you to bypass the citizenship process, he may have succeeded. But the mother is another thing. If she's not a citizen... she's fair game.

I'd suggest you contact INS, or one of the other agencies... like first thing in the morning. It may not be long before they're made "citizens," and you won't be able to get rid of them.

As far as not liking his mother, INS doesn't care. They only care if she's illegal.
Your sponsorship that you signed was only for 3 years, so you are no longer held by that, how ever if she did not file for change of status then you can report her. I wish you the best
