What good is a bill that CLEARLY can't be enforced?

I watched most of it on C-Span, and every time Reid objected to anyone speaking on, or asking a question on each amendment being brought up, (at least everyone except those who were with him on the bills amendments being considered) I wanted to shoot the TV. And the Madame President wasn't helping either. Reid had a right to do this, Reid had a right to do that, kind of made me sick of how this part of the process of tabling each amendment that was suppose to be considered for this bill. Democrats got their way out of most of it. The bill also amends the 800 plus double fenced wall, to a mere 370 single garbage fence. And you're right Dar... some senate members are already speaking out as to how this bill like all the others in the past will not be enforced, and unenforceable (If) it is put into law. And the 4.4 billion promised to secure the border will do nothing as well.
I intend on continuing to write senators tonight, and congress members as well. Congress plans on shutting it down since the senate doesn't have the balls to. At least that's the signal they are giving. So that's where my focus will be.

well you know that would be the first thing to go since there is a demand for cheap labor by large corporations and how would it be if they were actually fined and punished for not checking real ID
This bill is dead! If the Senate passes it, the House isn't going to! This is all bullsh!t, because they can't even enforce the current laws. Much less the laws in the new bill!

The American people are starting to realize this is an invasion - a government-sanctioned invasion. When will the bill's supporters realize that they're being used by the corporatations?
The Real ID will be an easy one to lose. Americans are traditionally scared of "Big Brother" and "666" marks anyway, in spite of the fact we desperately need a National ID card. The employer enforcement will not affect that much either. Big business doesn't like it and it will be hard to enforce without a National ID card. They come here for the WELFARE as much as the jobs! They get more in real value going on WELFARE. The only proof you need is a positive pregnancy test to get WIC. I heard tell of a lady who had a field full of illegals picking vegetables. They relaxed the restrictions in her area and IN ONE DAY all her hands were GONE! They had gotten jobs in McDonald's in the airconditioning working for a dollar an hour more. What happened to the legal workers remains unknown. They probably didn't qualify for welfare since they still live with their parents.
That is what happened. EXACTLY...the thing is that you can't dispute CSPAN which has live recordings of it...and YES, I WAS watching it.
Keep telling them NO Amnesty !! I have heard that some of the congressmen & women are leaving their phones off the hook and unplugging their fax machines ? They can`t stop the MAIL ! We purchased 100 postcards @ the post office , addressed them to who we wanted to get the NO message to, and then on the back in BIG RED LETTERS we wrote VOTE NO ! NO ILLEGAL AMNESTY BILL NOW OR EVER ! We figured they will get these whether they want them or not , and I imagine quite a few citizens will see them passing in the mail !!
