Hi, just got married and wnat to change my name on my British passport. Got all the documents through, but no where does it say how much i should pay for it. Does anyone out there know what the fees are to renew a passport?

First off: Congratulations on getting married!
The fee depends on which country your in (because you have to pay in local currency).
If you're in the UK just ask the Passport Office/Home Office. But anywhere else and you'd have to visit the embassy's website. I believe the fee for those in the USA is $220 USD and they accept Mastercard and Visa. I'm afraid the fees just changed (most likely increased) on the 1st May 2007. If you're in Australia it's $254 AUD.
Give the passport office a ring on Monday. Hope this helps.
