Why do illegals claim to have a high level of family values?
Are the illegals actually using their children for their own benifit?
Do they only care for themselves, and know that American bleeding-hearts will take up their cause if they display their children?

I do not know why they claim that. They leave family in one country, illegally go to another & start another family that they may have to leave. Sounds messed up to me.
Otherwise they couldn't pay the rent.
They are ILLEGALS! Criminals! They LIE! It is the nature of a criminal to lie.
Do they know that Americans also have family values? I would never use a child for my own benifite.

I'm not sure if they are claiming the high family values or they are being touted as having high family values to prove how "cold hearted" those that want them to go home and come back legally are. I had heard of a study recently where the incidence of illegitimate births was as high among illegals as among any other group.
They try to show how caring they are. However, THEY subject their family to possible separation through deportation, dangers in getting to the US and continual problems since they can't LEGALLY work. They have children here in the hopes that they can stay (AKA use the children). THEY ARE CRIMINALS!
I know it sounds harsh but I have no sympathy for people that have no respect for our laws. They should ALL be deported, including their anchor babies.

are you daft? quite a number of them leave their families at home and risk dying in the desert to find work and send money home. is that your definition of "only care for themselves"?
Any parent that would drag there child across the desert with no regards to there welfare an safety if the get hurt an couldn't walk they would do what with them??.And have children not out of love but as a tool to use them as a shield against the system of our great country to exploit money and social services. I think it a low level of family values.Since the children grow up knowing there parent or parents are criminals an have broken the laws.But there not taught to respect the laws as all the videos of screaming mother & children & fathers demanding we give them rights an amnesty & our country. Who else uses children as shields in there quest not a good example?
My parents were once illigal immigrants. My mom is now a US Citizen and my dad is a legal resident. They both left their countries to seek a better life here. They both met here and married and had two kids. They actually worked hard to become what they are and I believe people like them deserve the chance to stay. Immigrants that come here to suck welfare out of the government should be ashamed of themselves. I know of women that come here pregnant and get food stamps. RIDICULOUS. Its like the U.S. invites them to come and live off them. There should be RULES. Your question cannot be answered because it is to broad a subject. There are many different types of cases out there some fair some not. I personally think that immgrants that come here to protest should do so in their own contries because those countries are whack. Maybe then they would not have to come here. One thing is sure...not all immigrants suck the welfare of the government. Most come here to work and their ambition should be to become US CITIZENS, they should be given a chance as well. As for the others ... shame on them.
If you go just by the numbers illegal immigrates have no standing to brag on family values, from high school drop outs to out wedlock of birth rates, to the cost of their anchor babies to the tax payers. Yes, they to try to hide behind their anchor children, from having them cry on cue in news conferences, to the child that Elvira Arellano, a convicted felon, uses to travel from Mexico to Washington DC, to demand for his mother things that are not hers to have, like amnesty. Yes we do have some warts in the country of our own, such as welfare mothers, dead beat fathers, but these are ours people for good or bad, and they are not to used by the illegals or their enamelers to made a point that they are better than us
In my opinion they claim they have family values all they want,actions speak louder than words,and They dont act family oriented to me. It is not unusual for the men to have sex with young girls,In America that would be considered child abuse and would go to prison for sexual asault of a minor..They dont have the money to afford all the kids they have and claim its against their religion,I guess they forget about religion when it comes time to provide for the kids..They break the law by trespassing,and continually committing crimes,usually having a prison record a mile long before they get deported,GREAT ROLE MODEL if you consider family values,the devils family!
Illegal immigration is a huge problem for us and I don't know many answers in solving it. But I do know this. If I was not so lucky to be born a white male in america and instead was born in mexico, I'd bring my family to the US in a heartbeat, laws or no laws. And like now, nobody's family values would be higher than mine.
Yes, the illegals are selfish. Some women cross the border just to give birth to anchor babies. Both the mother and child benefit from our country. And they continue to have several more children even though they cannot afford it. If this is what they call "family values", their mentality is screwed up. Kick them out! No anchor babies!
I think they are using their kids! They will have 6 kids & don't care if they go to school & do well!! They don't care if they live off of beans, they don't care if they all live in a 2 bedroom. Mexico doesn't care about their kids so they come here. I have seen the kids in Mexico & yet they don't stop having kids!! I think they are users! It is a big hole that we got ourselfs into!! I say send them back where they belong & let their goverment take care of them!! Why should we?!!

Yes, they apparently do only care for themselves. I would never have put my son in that dangerous a position. Beyond that, they have more and more children that they have no way of supporting or educating and will expect us to that for them too. I'm not a bleeding heart and I say that their morals and values are so different that those of most Americans. It is frightening to think what kind of adults these illegal children will become.

It is rather ironic to claim moral high ground to defend illegality. High incidences of illegitimate births, drunken behavior, domestic abuse, sexual abuse. Those are not family values. Risking life and limb of children is not a family value. Having children you cannot afford and demanding public assistance for them is not a family value. Hiding behind children to obstruct legal deportation is not a family value.
Family values produce children who are law-abiding and productive citizens. Family values place the safety of children above other concerns and ensures continuity of parental care and nurturing.
