Yeah you got that right, the US is starting to become a foreign country.
I married a Brazilian lady in 2003...she was already here on a b-2 visa...which meant she was documented and legal. I had to file forms I-130, I-485, and I-765 for her...we have been married for 4 years now...we are very very happy...however, it took 2 years to get her & her son the green cards...
