Can I travel out of the country with greencard expired?
Answer:
ALL HE NEEDS IS HIS DRIVERS LICENSE OR NATIONAL ID, HIS GREEN CARDS AND PROOF OF HIS CITIZENSHIP APPLICATION BECAUSE CUSTOMS HAS HIS INFORMATION IN THEIR SYSTEM AND HE SHOULD BE GOOD TO GO. AFTER ALL THEY ARE PRETTY GOOD ON THE CANADIAN BOARDER.
If your dad wants to take that chance traveling to Canada, and than expecting to get back into the United States, with and expired green card Yeah! good luck with that let me ask you something do you have Moron, written on your forehead, with all that is going on now again why would you even think about doing something like that plus the fact that now you have to have a passport as when you leave and enter back in the United States from Canada,as well do you read the papers look at television check
the Internet what!
And here is a really good question why did your dad let his card expire in the first place when not just this country but all over the world countries are making it tougher and harder and longer to get the required papers and identification to stay in a particular country like the U.S.does that make any sense at all.
He is driving to Canada, and will have to be checked at the border not unless he knows another way into Canada, with out being stopped by border agents and if not than he is going to have a very hard time at the border with and expired green card and no other form of I.D.from the federal government to verify him since he let that card expire real smart move in this age and time of terrorism!
