i am exactly the same except i have a young boy and im female lol but really my local council housing have to dedicate 83% of the houses that come up to homeless people who are not usally home less but drinkers or people who take drugs becasue if you have no fixed address you cant put in an application form so they must b people who are getting flung out the house they live in at the moment

We have the same problem in the U.S. Illegal aliens ( folks who would not qualify as dirt under my feet) are always marching for rights they don't have under our constitution.
Our rights have been given to the people that shouldn't be given rights (e.g., illegal aliens)!

I'm sorry you feel that way. I met a lot of white, heterosexual people while I was living in the UK, and none of them ever raised that complain. (I lived in Scotland for 6 months last year to complete my degree, but now I'm back in the States). None of them ever felt in the minority, either. But what do I know, I'm not a Briton.

I completely agree my friend! Don't get me wrong i'm not against 'minorities' but i think things are getting out of hand. Trouble's brewing! All this 'pro discrimination' is designed to speed up integration, i think this is wrong. If people come to this country then they should have to work for their rights. I'm a White hetero male as well, but it's never seemed to cause me any problems. If you need to apply for a council house, you have to join the queue with lots of other people, if someone needs it more than you, then they'll get theirs sooner, that's obvious.
Rather than blame other people, ask why the government aren't building more council houses, or why half the new build city centre apartments are kept empty by investors hoping to make a killing on the property market.
Valid complaint, many men that I know who are of the same status as you often raise this issue...
But in this country and other developed nations (it seems) your rights as a primary citizen have gone and are never coming back by the looks of it.

The Tories sold off all the council housing, New Labour wants to build more house's for profit.
The Social Security system applies to everyone. Everyone has to meet the criteria and when they are given support, they have to repay this as a loan.
