Yes i do think it is a good deal, the new law would beafit amaricans, for every mexacan = land mass, ie if have of mexico came to the us, the us would annexe have the land of mexico.
Not the way it is worded . No body wants to be firm on closing the borders and no amnesty for those that have broken our laws .
One of the reasons the government won't do it right ( like Eisenhower did in the 50's ) is because of the NAFTA Super Highway , where the Far East goods will come from Mexico through the middle of the US into Canada .
The Government and large Corporations working together , won't put any restrictions on people and products coming up the Super Highway ( their idea ) .
The AT & T , Coke Cola and GE Corporations among others , want a United North America . And our Government has bought into this . The first leg of the Super Highway will start in TX this year , unles the American Public speak out .

Absolutely not. The problem our government has is not passing any new immigration bills, but to ENFORCE the ones that are ALREADY on the books. Lawbreakers are lawbreakers, no matter which way you look at it. If you broke the law, you would go to prison. If illegals insist on jumping our borders without proper documentation, they are breaking the laws of the U.S. and should be detained and deported immediately and the government of THEIR respective country should be footing the bill for detention and deportation.
When our government passed amnesty in 1986 for 1.7 million illegal aliens in our country they made a promise that if congress would pass amnesty then our immigration laws would be enforced....20 million more illegals in our country proves that our government cannot be trusted to enforce our laws...also they admitted that at least 1/3 of the applications for amnesty were questionable but amnesty was given anyway... Many lawmakers engaged in this legislative fray are veterans of 1986, and several senators supported amnesty then, including Arlen Specter, Republican of Pennsylvania; Charles E. Grassley, Republican of Iowa; Richard G. Lugar, Republican of Indiana; Charles E. Schumer, Democrat of New York; and John Kerry, Democrat of Massachusetts.

We, as Americans, do not need more lies from congress...what we do need is only what they promised in 1986...that our immigration laws would be enforced! Americans and legal residents should be saying loudly & clearly the only acceptable path is ATTRITION THRU ENFORCEMENT
No way man......It is not right or fair becausse other people stand in line for years working contributing paying taxes, going to school,etc. Just to get a shot at the dream..But we have people over running the borders & demanding change here..Totally unacceptable could we do it there ? we would be shot or jailed! Stop employing them & they will leave no job no money..no housing they will run home..Go through the process then it will be okay.....
