Can a non us citizen get on a plan and to go home?
Answer:
I am looking at the future. You are a conditional permanent resident since you are married to a US citizen. The Conditional Status may be dropped by applying for Removal of Conditional Status within 90 days of the 2 year anniversary of the granting of Conditional Permanent Residency.
I strongly suggest you wait until you have done this before getting on a plane back to your country. Millions of people will give or do anything to have a green card that you are thinking of throwing away.
Think it over.**
Anyone can leave the US. To reenter their home nation, however, they may need a passport.
So long as they have their proof of citizenship (passport, generally) for their country, and a plane ticket, I don't see any reason why they can't.
Hi jen! Yes you can leave here anytime, as long as you have a passport or travel document or proof that you're a citizen of the country you are planning to enter / go back to. Good luck!
