Ok now currently I reside in the caribbean, my mother is a permanent legal resident in the United States. She applied for my green card a few years ago and I have recieved documents fron immigration at my address here in the caribbean. Now I havee to attend school in New York, and my question is this exactly where would I be called for my interview to recieve my green card ? Would it be in my local country or could it be done in America itself? Can arrangements be made to change my address so the documents would be sent to me in New York?
Now my mom recieved most of the documents herself in NY. I only recieved one set here in the caribbean. Thing is when she filled out the forms she put this address (caribbean). Thing is I dont know when its time for me to be granted the greencard, would they want me to come in to the immigration office in america, or require me to attain it through the american embassy in the caribbean seeing that is the address my mom put? do I have a choice ?
