How long do you think that a teenager has to wait for a immigration background check?

well this person is under 18 and has been waiting for the background check of immigration to finish for the last 7 mouths. this person has not done criminal activity in their whole life. how long does this person has to wait more to get their green card. what is going on????

Well, if you're waiting for the results, then, the long wait is typical because the data has to travel place to place and get into the system and everything. But just in case, check to make sure that there are no problems with the processing by calling or going to www. uscis.gov and checking your account. In general, some processes take longer than others. But 7 months seems just a bit too long.
why just call and find out what going on?
people is ahead put in they background check before this person and the govt could be facing a backlog!!!

I wish this person luck. Can this person call a caseworker or somesuch, as if that would do any good. If I were this person I would like to at least make certain the government has not lost my paperwork.
It will depend on where they came from (some places are more automated than others and some are a 'country of more interest' than others where schools are scrutinized since they are sometimes terrorist training facilities.) Also, if they have the same name as someone who is a problem that can slow things down.
