I want to move to Scotland to live the rest of my life. What do I need to do to achieve this?
Answer:
work permit and lots of money to take with you. Good luck!
Just apply for a work permit to move to the uk then come to glasgow and get a job. Simple really and good luck- scotlands amazing!
You would probably be wise to take a vacation here and to get the lie of the land. Scotland is not really the way it is always portrayed by Hollywood and you may find you don't even like the country. There again you may fall in love with it as much as we Scots.
A great love for Single Malt Scotch...I'm in!
There isn't a website that comes directly to my mind, but you can try looking up some Scottish heritage sites, Edinburgh or Glasgow or any major city, probably have loads of websites for all sorts of contacts that you can talk with to find out a multitude of info on all sort's of thing's, but firstly contact the Scottish Parliament and tell them of your heritage and they might be able to answer any questions you need answered.
