did you voluntarily turn yourself in? exactly how young and how stupid were you? if you were a minor under 17 you should not have a problem, otherwise this affects the moral character question on the adjustment application. with a good mouthpiece you most probably will still be granted your status.
heck, they were on the point of giving amnesty for those who had less than 3 misdemeanors and any felony short of an agravated felony, so I think that would be a bit hypocritical. A felony would bar you, or gang membership or drug charges typically, as I understand it. If it has been a long time, just tell the truth. If you were underage, better yet.
