"I oppose the Senate immigration deal," Funny how it is called a DEAL. DEAL? for whom? Immigration...we have laws regarding Immigration! We also have laws to Deport persons without proper documentation in this Nation. Don't even get me started on this Guest worker bunk. Because if we import everything from China & we have other 'guests' doing our labor & we send all the technical computer stuff it India then AMERICA HAS NO BACKBONE!
The economy will fail! We need to Build our own products and employ our own people & do our own work. We are not all BEER DRINKING, TV, watching, food stamp collecting, publically educated IDIOTS! A Had a fine public education. And I understand that we cannot survive this way.

You say that illegal immigrants are NOT criminals? I find that to be a load of crap! There are 10,000 child molesters in jail right now and 8,600 of them are illegals! You think that you know everything when you don't. Why don't you try watching the news sometime? Oh yeah, this is not the illegals land! This land is the Native Americans. And there are a lot of us who have Native American ancestors.
no illegal is going to pay $5000. if they had that they'd be in mexico having a fiesta. without a REAL wall how can you tell who's coming in or out. employers should half to cross the wall to get their guest workers in mexico and then be responsible for the ones they bring in until they return them.
We've always had immigration, but those immigrants followed very stringent guidelines. They were required to have a place to stay and a job lined up before they came in. Because they held their jobs legally they paid taxes. They were not eligible for any government benefits until they became citizens, which they usually did as soon as they met the requirements.
None of this applies to today's illegal immigrants. Since they can't legally hold a job they can't be taxed. The very act of entering illegally is a crime. Obtaining work using false documents is a crime. Obtaining government assistance using false documents is a crime. What part of 'these people are criminals' don't their advocates understand.
If a citizen uses false identification to avoid paying taxes, or to fraudulently obtain government benefits, they go to jail for it. Illegal immigrant advocates argue that illegals shouldn't go to jail for the same crime, and we have politicians in Congress who don't see the illogic of that.
Finally there are the illegals who claim they don't want to become American. If you came here because you couldn't support your family in your country of origin, then give your allegiance to the country that gave you the opportunity to do so. If you can't, then return to the country you give allegiance to and do your best to make a life there.
True reform would be to deport and secure our borders.
