Migrating to Australia?
Thanks in advance.
Answer:
I can give you the links for the info. Prepare to declare all the money you bring. 10,000 dollars will not be enough for you I'm afraid. Especially if you plan on staying and becoming another Aussie citizen. Think along the lines of 100,000 dollars that you would have to have for the AU government to hold onto for a year or so. This is to ensure that you are not there to live off the good people, or the government. And although your work background maybe good in U.S., it is hardly considered skilled work in OZ. There are many other hurdles for you to migrate to OZ, but don't let me discourage you. I only say this because a friend of mine from U.S. came to OZ without much, and government was always ready to deport her. It took 7 years of fighting to stay before she was able to become legal citizen after a total of ten years here.

good idea provied you get there with less expenses
Australia is "down under" so you would be moving "down" to Australia not "up".
Make sure that she has a good job so that she can support you.
Hi mikep. I'm not Australian, but a friend of mine was in the same situation as you, and she told me that Australia don't want white-collar skill workers coz they have enough of them there. They are looking for skilled laborers and those who are skilled in the tertiary industry such as baking and cooking. You'll have to get the info from the Australian immigration website. I'm sure they will have a downloadable pdf file or something. My friend broke up with her online lover and didn't go over to work in Australia, so this is all I can tell you.
i don't know anything about visas but i think all of the jobs have to do with crocodiles. g'day mate. criiiikieeees. put another shrimp on the barbie. i think you can get there by going to england and comitting a felony. have a vegimite sandwich for me.
