I haven't heard anybody refer to Latin America as third world ... but the way you describe it, makes it sound like you are calling it one... funny.. third world usually means a poor or developing country... which if they people in Latin America are poor because they can't get a decent job.. sounds to me like it is either a poor or developing country :)
